Hulst Innovation Cable Equipment (HICE) has extensive experience in developing reliable solutions for cable transport and installation. Key equipment includes the Linear Cable Engine (LCE), Bow Cable Engine (BCE) and various loading and guiding systems, all designed for safe and controlled cable handling. Certification by DNV is available for both LCE and BCE.

The LCE is primarily used on installation vessels for cable laying operations, delivering up to 5t pulling force through hydraulically driven wheel-pairs that ensure equal load distribution and cable protection. Higher pulling capacities can be achieved by operating multiple units in-line.

The compact BCE is mainly used for loading and transpooling operations between shore and vessel, offering efficient performance with lower pulling capacity and easy crane handling.

HICE also designs advanced loading arms and guiding systems for static tanks and rotating carousels, ensuring precise cable positioning while preventing excessive bending and external damage. All systems are engineered for durability, safety and operational efficiency in demanding offshore and onshore environments.
